Meet the Team

Angela A. Matrozza is our Director, Claims Operations and joins us with over 25 years’ worth of experience in the health insurance industry.  Over her career Angela has managed teams both domestically and abroad, maximizing talent resulting in favorable fiscal outcomes.  She has worked in a direct and consulting capacity in health plan regulation, HIPPA, and operational processing.

At Peak, Angela oversees the claims processing, enrollment and billing, and Member and Provider service areas.   In her role, she works closely on all Peak launch initiatives collaborating with IT, Epic, and leadership to create sound operational processes that have positive outcomes for members and providers alike.  Angela also manages key vendor relationships and various project timelines.  She promotes learning and autonomy within Peak Operations, being an advocate for career growth and advancement within her team. 

Outside of her career, Angela lives with her partner Matt and their dog, Stella. She has volunteered for multiple animal shelter rescue agencies and sat on the Advisory Board of Dress for Success of Central PA for seven years. Angela loves being outdoors, travel, yoga and has never met a dog she didn’t love.

Brandie earned an RN Diploma from the Washington Hospital School of Nursing, and a BSN at Waynesburg University.

Currently, Brandie lives in Connellsville, in southwestern PA, just 45 minutes from Peak in Morgantown, WV. She enjoys spending time with her family and has been married for 25 years with three children ages 24, 21, and 13. Her 13-year-old keeps her busy with travel volleyball and musical performances.  Brandie likes to get to the beach for a vacation every chance she can.

In her spare time, Brandie reads Nicholas Sparks novels and works on house projects with her husband. She is an animal lover with 2 cats and 3 dogs, including her big and lovable St. Bernard – Lucas.
