Peak Health held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday (Oct. 17) to unveil new Peak Health, WVU Medicine, and WVU Medicine Children’s signage that was recently installed on the outside and inside of several buildings at Mylan Park in Morgantown.

Earlier this year, Peak Health and WVU Medicine announced a new partnership with Mylan Park, West Virginia’s premier recreation, sport, health, and wellness complex. Mylan Park’s Aquatic Center was named the Peak Health Aquatic Center at Mylan Park; the track complex was named the Peak Health Track and Field Complex; and the Splash Pad area and waterslides were named for WVU Medicine Children’s.

“The new signage at Mylan Park is beautiful and embodies Peak Health’s and WVU Medicine’s deep commitment to supporting wellness for West Virginians,” Ben Gerber, CEO of Peak Health and chief strategy officer for the WVU Health System, said. “We’ve already received wonderful feedback from the many Peak Health members who are now enjoying free access to the Aquatic Center and other Mylan Park recreation and fitness facilities through the Mylan Park MyPARK Pass program.” (And as a reminder, all members and beneficiaries of Peak Health’s medical insurance plans now have free access to the Peak Health Aquatic Center and other Mylan Park recreation and fitness facilities through the Mylan Park MyPARK Pass program – be sure to sign up today! )

The ceremony was well attended by WVU Medicine and Peak Health team members, as well as representatives from Mylan Park, the Morgantown Area Partnership, and other members of the local community.

Following the ceremony, guests took time to admire the new signage, to talk with Peak Health representatives, and to explore the Aquatic Center and other wellness facilities.
